Former Doctor Faces Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician now faces charges for committing sexual assaults against 38 individuals who were patients.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous acts of sexual assault â some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen â spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official stated, âLegal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.â
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what police described as a âdetailed inquiryâ into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
