Three Athletes Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Award

Lionesses forward Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and cricket star Davina Perrin have been shortlisted for the upcoming Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
The three finalists have been celebrated for their remarkable achievements over the past 12 months.
Agyemang played a key role in helping the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the very first time, and Perrin rose to fame with a historic innings.
Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his remarkable rise.
The three contenders were revealed during a live broadcast on a widely-listened-to radio show.
This year's winner will be announced during a live broadcast on the prestigious sports ceremony show on the 18th of December.
The event will be broadcast from 7 PM GMT.

A mere three months after her international debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to European Championship victory.
She came off the bench to score crucial late equalisers in both the last eight and last four matches.
These match-saving moments led to her being named the best young player at the Euros.
Later in the year, she was awarded the prestigious Golden Girl honour for the best young player in Europe.
She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player.
Agyemang, who has been at Brighton in a temporary move from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.
"To be named a finalist for Young Sports Personality of the Year is incredible," said Agyemang. "I thank God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."
Littler's Profile

The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - while still 17 - he became the most youthful world title winner in history.
He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious three major tournament wins.
He didn't stop there - his win in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the very first time.
At 18, he is the earliest achiever to do so, smashing the previous record.
"Earning a spot on the shortlist for the honour once more is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "Last year's win was a highlight for me and I've had another amazing 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."
Perrin's Profile
Age: 19 Sport: Cricket
Perrin is one of English cricket's top prospects and rose to fame with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August.
Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.
It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a premier tournament.
Perrin ended up as runner-up in the run-scoring charts and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.
"I'm incredibly grateful to be shortlisted for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "This is phenomenal. I hope it inspires more young women to get into cricket."
